SHIPPING AND RETURN
At Amara India Inc., we strive to provide the best possible shipping experience for our customers. The following shipping terms and conditions outline the policies and procedures that govern our shipping practices.

DEFINITIONS
ORDER: A request placed by a customer to purchase a product from Amara India Inc. under Amara Spices.
PRODUCT: Any item that is sold by Amara India Inc. under Amara Spices.
SHIPPING: The process of transporting a product from Amara Spices to the customer.
DELIVERY: The point at which the product is received by the customer.

SHIPPING POLICIES
Purchases are shipped from our own or third party warehouses / stores or offices from various points in India.
Shipping times may vary depending on the shipping method and destination. Our endeavor is to make the products reach you within 7-10 days from receipt of order and payment. Order deliveries will be made usually between 10:30 am – 7:00 pm from Monday – Sunday.
Goods will need to be signed for upon delivery. We take no responsibility for goods signed by an alternative person other than the person ordering the product at the address indicated at the time of the order.
Since the transactions are authorized by the card holder, we do not take responsibility for incorrect addresses provided at the time of placing the order. The delivery will NOT be redirected / redelivered to any other address under any circumstance. The selected product will be delivered only in the city it is mentioned as “available” on this Site.
Amara India Inc. shall not be held responsible for damage of products after delivery. Amara India Inc. will contact the customer to confirm the date, time & address of delivery. If the delivery fails due to following reasons, Amara India Inc. will contact the customer again to deliver the goods & shall levy additional delivery charges for the second attempt. In case the customer refuses to pay the additional delivery charges, Amara India Inc. will treat the order as cancelled and shall refund the order money after deducting the cancellation and delivery charges to the Customer.
Amara India Inc. will consider the order delivery “failed” in the following cases:

Delivery not done due to wrong address.

Recipient not available.

Premises locked.
In case of floods/ Heavy Rains/ National Bandh we reserve the right to reschedule the delivery for another date. In case the product is not delivered due to any of the above reasons, we will inform you about the same. All claims for shortages or damages must be reported to customer service on the day of delivery through the 'Contact Us' page on the website. Also the said shortage of goods needs be highlighted and signed on the delivery challan copy and returned to the delivery person.

DELIVERY CHARGES:
Shipping and handling rates may vary based on product, packaging, size, volume, type and other considerations. The shipping and handling charges are given at the time of check out and consumers will know about this before making payments.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Orders can be cancelled within 12 hours of placement. Cancellation fees may apply.

PRODUCT RETURN AND REFUND:
Once products are delivered to you and accepted as accurate and as per the original order, no refunds or exchange can be done. To return any items that are damaged or expired or not as per your original order, please return these products to the delivery person along with a remark on the delivery challan. Please contact customer service by email through the 'Contact Us' link on the website. Mention the return of products along with the order number, and the date of delivery. All returned items must be accompanied by a copy of the original receipt, a return / exchange authorization number and in unopened, saleable condition. Postage and charges for return of these will not be refunded. Please note that in any case we cannot offer exchanges or refunds on any sale of opened or used products. Please allow one to three weeks from the day you return your package for your refund request to be processed. You will be contacted once your return is complete.

LIABILITY:
Amara India Inc. is not liable for any damages or losses incurred during shipping. Amara India Inc. is not responsible for any delays or failures in shipping caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to weather conditions, traffic or mechanical failure.

GOVERNING LAWS:
These shipping terms and conditions is governed by and constructed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any action with respect to this policies must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction within the territory of the courts at Bangalore, Karnataka, India. This Agreement may not be changed or modified without the written consent of Amara India Inc.

CHANGES TO SHIPPING TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
Amara India Inc. reserves the right to modify these shipping terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Amara Spices website.
