About the Recipe

Ingredients

11/2cups Non-dairy milk (Almond, Soy or coconut milk)

1tsp Matcha powder

1/4tsp Amara Spices Lakadong turmeric

1/4cup hot water

1pinch Amara Spices Black pepper, freshly ground

1-2tsp Raw forest honey/ Maple syrup

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, add matcha powder, Amara Spices Lakadong turmeric, and freshly ground Amara Spices Black pepper.

  2. Pour hot water over the mixture. Use a bamboo whisk or a hand frother and whisk vigorously until a smooth paste or a frothy mixture forms. Break down clumps, if any.

  3. In a separate saucepan, heat milk until it is hot and starts to foam.

  4. Pour the hot milk into a mug with the matcha blend. Stir in your desired amount of sweetener.

  5. Stir well and enjoy immediately. For an iced version, let the mixture cool slightly, then pour over a glass filled with ice.
