About the Recipe

Ingredients

1/2cup rolled oats

1cup Non-dairy milk

1/2tsp Amara Spices Lakadong turmeric powder

1/4tsp Amara Spices Ceylon cinnamon powder

1/4tsp Ginger (freshly ground)

1tbsp honey or maple syrup

Pinch of Amara Spices Black pepper

Toppings (optional): Sliced fruits, chopped nuts, shredded coconut, or seeds

Preparation

  1. In a pot, bring the non-dairy milk to a simmer over medium heat.

  2. Add the rolled oats, Amara Spices Lakadong turmeric powder, Amara Spices Ceylon cinnamon powder, freshly ground ginger, and Amara Spices Black pepper. Whisk until the oats are well coated.

  3. Reduce the heat to low and cook, stirring occasionally, until the oats have absorbed most of the liquid and have a creamy consistency.

  4. Add honey or maple syrup, and stir to combine.

  5. Top with your choice of fruits, nuts, or seeds and serve hot.
